Casa del Apero

Description

Probably at the beginning of the 17th century and functionally linked to the sugar mill, this building was built as a granary, stables and storehouse for farm implements. It has a rectangular floor plan with a courtyard inside and is built on two levels with rammed earth walls with stone walls. The arches and pillars are made of brick, as is the entrance doorway.

After its restoration in the 1990s, it has become the Cultural Centre "Casa del Apero", which houses the Municipal Library, the Archaeological Museum, a temporary exhibition hall and the tourist office.
