The Museo del Monf\u00ed offers an insight into local Moorish history, exhibiting documents such as the Koran of C\u00fatar, one of the oldest in Spain. Every year in October, the Fiesta del Monf\u00ed is held, which commemorates the Moorish past of the municipality with an Andalusian souk, music and typical gastronomy. The local gastronomy includes dishes such as ajoblanco, gazpacho and maimones soups, as well as sweet wines made from muscatel grapes.
