Today, this village in the Axarqu\u00eda pays tribute to this ancient tradition and to autumn\u2019s star produce: the chestnut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Festival declared to be of Provincial Tourist Interest <\/strong>during which more than 300 kilos of roasted chestnuts and 250 kilos of roasted sweet potatoes are handed out to those attending, along with sweet and dry aniseed liqueur and shortbread.
