This municipality is on the border between the Axarquia region, which it joins through the Periana corridor, and the Montes region, which it joins from the west; it is located next to the old road to Granada. It offers a different landscape depending on which way you look at it: <strong>rocky mountains to the north and south and olive and cereal lands to the east and west.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Colmenar <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is <\/span><strong>rural tourism<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <strong>mountainous nature<\/strong>culture and<\/span> Andalusian authenticity.
