With\u00a0<strong>30,000 years of history<\/strong>This cave has witnessed the cultural evolution of the first human groups that inhabited the Bay of Malaga.<\/p>\n<div class=\"i4t-include-wrap-regionesGeneric-h4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"i4t-id-7updz8hwo\" data-insuit-uuid=\"ff086172-f6a2-4aa3-b364-9a3deaad32c4\">\n<h4 id=\"i4t-id-7updz8hwo\" class=\"wrap-regionesGeneric-h4-0 i4t-reference-include\"><strong>A unique prehistoric shelter<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>During the\u00a0<strong>Upper Palaeolithic<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Neolithic<\/strong>The Cueva de la Victoria served as a refuge and ceremonial space for human communities. This natural complex, made up of more than two kilometres of galleries, not only provided shelter, but also a space for artistic and ritual expression.<\/p>\n<p>On their walls are cave paintings depicting scenes from the daily life, spirituality and social interaction of these communities. Specifically,\u00a0<strong>67 anthropomorphic figures<\/strong>\u00a0decorate its galleries, and is one of the most significant collections of the\u00a0<strong>schematic art<\/strong>\u00a0in southern Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"i4t-include-wrap-regionesGeneric-h4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"i4t-id-bqogsl239\" data-insuit-uuid=\"0eee0207-df66-42a9-bb42-56c3595c7179\">\n<h4 id=\"i4t-id-bqogsl239\" class=\"wrap-regionesGeneric-h4-1 i4t-reference-include\"><strong>A Neolithic burial site<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Cueva de la Victoria took on a special role during the\u00a0<strong>Neolithic<\/strong>It became an important funerary space. Approximately\u00a0<strong>13,000 years<\/strong>In one of the main galleries, the inhabitants carved the silhouette of individuals, creating a symbolic scene representing the relationship between the living and the dead.<\/p>\n<p>The remains of the deceased were placed in the centre of the burial gallery, surrounded by these anthropomorphic representations.
