{"id":2162,"date":"2025-03-17T09:48:02","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T09:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/turismoaxarquiacostadelsol.com\/?post_type=que-hacer&#038;p=2162"},"modified":"2025-06-24T12:43:32","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T10:43:32","slug":"hermitage-of-the-jesus-of-calvary","status":"publish","type":"que-hacer","link":"https:\/\/turismoaxarquiacostadelsol.com\/en\/que-hacer\/ermita-del-jesus-del-calvario\/","title":{"rendered":"Jes\u00fas del Calvario Chapel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"281\">The chapel, located in Calvario Street and built in the 18th century, has a square ground plan and a doorway with a semicircular arch on pilasters. <strong>Founded by Mrs. Ana de B\u00e9jar, it is Baroque in style and, being the chapel of the local cemetery, it has a great cult among the neighbours.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"519\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">On 23 July 1936, the hermitage suffered the destruction of the carving of Jes\u00fas del Calvario and its altarpiece, as well as other damages.
