The second section, which is longer, consists of recessed rectangles with sebka panels on all four sides, formed by mixtilinear rhombuses created using cut bricks, leaving the corners undecorated. At the base of the mixtilinear rhombuses, some small columns have disappeared and no trace of wall painting remains. The final section, added in the Christian period to house the bells, rises from an impost and is covered by a hipped roof.

As we enter the west courtyard of the church, we come across the remains of pillars and pointed arches, which date from the former mosque.

This Almohad minaret, with its 12 metres high, It contrasts with the white of the farmhouse, standing out due to the use of moulded red bricks to decorate the sebka panels. In the 16th century, the upper section was added to convert the tower into a Christian one.

The minaret is part of the town’s parish church It was formerly a mosque that was converted into a Christian basilica. It bears a close resemblance to the Alminar de Árchez, although it is somewhat smaller, standing approximately 12 metres high and measuring 3.5 metres on each side.

This minaret was declared National Monument The building, which was inaugurated on 16 November 1979, is one of the most beautiful examples of Almohad art in the Iberian Peninsula. Built in red brick between the 13th and 14th centuries, it has two sections and four openings with magnificent sebka panels.

["post-4422","que-hacer","type-que-hacer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
