It has an interesting historical heritage with the Roman archaeological site of El Faro and the church of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Encarnaci\u00f3n standing out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other obligatory stops on the tourist itinerary are the hermitage of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de las Nieves, the Casa de la Moneda (Mint) and the hermitage of San Roque. The old town centre, just a few kilometres from the coastal strip, offers the image of a white village with Moorish reminiscences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close to the sea, Torrox concentrates most of its accommodation and leisure facilities next to some of the best beaches on the Eastern Costa del Sol. The beaches of Ferrara and El Morche are worthy of quality distinctions such as: SICTED (Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destinations), Q for Tourist Quality and Blue Flag.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Torrox is one of the municipalities of the Ruta del Sol y del Vino, which combines the best of the coast and the interior.
