The Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Axarquía-Costa del Sol is an entity that brings together the municipalities of the region with the aim of promoting its development and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants. Through cooperation between municipalities, essential services, infrastructures and strategic projects that benefit the whole region are jointly managed.

The management, planning and promotion of tourism in the Axarquia-Costa del Sol destination is the responsibility of the Tourism Department of Mancomunidad Axarquia.
