Easter Week in El Borge is a unique event that mixes religious tradition with joy and festive spirit. The procession coincides with the beginning of the Festivities of San Gabriel, patron saint of the municipality.

This municipality in the Axarquia Costa del Sol is part of the Sultana Route. The landscape is dominated by vineyards and there is an abundance of farmhouses with raisins, giving it the nickname of «Villa de la Pasa» (Raisin Village).

Considered a white village with a Moorish past, it is the birthplace of “El Bizco de Borge”, a famous bandit of Spanish romanticism.
