Chilches Tower

It is located in the municipality of Chilches, a tower from the modern age built in the 16th century that formed part of the complex of coastal constructions that guarded against attacks and invasions from the sea. It is characterised by its circular floor plan with an 8-metre-high truncated cone-shaped profile. The upper chamber housed the watchman and was accessed through a large open arch.
