BRIDGE AND ROAD OF CANILLAS DE ALBAIDA.

BRIDGE AND ROAD OF CANILLAS DE ALBAIDA.

Canillas de Albaida
It is erroneously called a 'Roman bridge'. It is an Andalusian bridge located below the junction of the rivers Cájula and Turvilla and represents, with the symbolism that this type of element has, on the one hand, the connection between two parts, and on the other a demonstration of human ingenuity to escape from inconveniences such as the flooding of the river. Today this bridge and this path in Canillas de Albaida form part of what is known as the Gran Senda de Málaga, as well as the Los Molinos trail that connects Canillas de Albaida with Árchez.
