Vélez-Málaga
It is located in the old hospital of San Juan de Dios, in whose courtyard you can see a beautiful example of Moorish art. The section dedicated to the Andalusian Axarquia consists of a series of exhibition panels and an important collection of pieces from different periods, from the 9th to the 15th century, from different parts of the region. Among them are lamps, coffins, pots, jugs and small jars, daggerboards, pots, coins, stamped fragments of jars and jars, arrowheads, and a small and beautiful model of an arcade. A fragment of plasterwork decorated with plant motifs and remains of polychromy belonging to the aljama mosque of the Andalusian Vélez stands out.
