Located on the Costa del Sol in Malaga, it stands out for its cultural and heritage wealth. One of its emblems is the Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), one of the few caves of marine origin in Europe, which houses prehistoric remains and legends about hidden treasures. The municipality celebrates various festivities that reflect its identity, such as the Fiesta del Boquerón Victoriano, where more than 1,200 kilos of anchovies are distributed free of charge in numerous local restaurants, promoting the typical gastronomy of the area. In addition, events such as the Traditional Verdiales Competition in Benagalbón, whose poster for the 29th edition was illustrated by Xavier Vilató Ruiz, Picasso's great-nephew, highlight the importance of musical traditions in the community. Cultural spaces such as the Casa Fuerte Bezmiliana and the Sala Mare Nostrum offer exhibitions and artistic activities, enriching the cultural offer of the municipality. The recent inauguration of the Sala Axarquía at IES Bezmiliana, which celebrates 25 years as an exhibition space, reinforces Rincón de la Victoria's commitment to the promotion of art and culture in all its facets. These initiatives, together with the celebration of literary and music festivals, consolidate Rincón de la Victoria as a cultural reference in the province of Málaga.
