Located in the Axarquia region of Malaga, it is a village with a rich cultural and ethnographic tradition. Its most emblematic event is "El Paso de Riogordo", a theatrical representation of the Passion of Christ that involves hundreds of locals and has been declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest. In addition, the town celebrates "La Molienda", an event dedicated to the culture of olive oil, where the traditional process of extraction in an old mill is revived.
