Cútar

The typical gastronomy of Cútar stands out for its rich Andalusian tradition with Moorish influences. It is based on local products such as olive oil, almonds, sultanas and local wine. Emblematic dishes include ajoblanco, a cold almond soup, puchero de garbanzos y chorizo, gazpacho and sopa de maimones. The main dish is the Coles Malagueñas, whose ingredients are chickpeas, cabbage and meat for the pringá, chicken, ribs, veal, black pudding and aged bone. It is also worth mentioning its muscatel wine and its milk cakes.
