Sayalonga

Sayalonga has a deep imprint of the Andalusian period, its name has a curious origin with Roman roots. It is believed that "Saya-longa" comes from Latin, meaning "long tunic", which is even reflected in the village's coat of arms.

Sayalonga is not only a village with a Muslim history, but also with a Roman legacy going back centuries.
