Benamargosa is surrounded by orchards, orange and lemon groves and subtropical fruit trees (avocados and mangoes) that carpet the narrow river valley with green and climb the slopes of the flanking hillsides in terraces.

A veritable orchard that contrasts sharply with the aridity of these hills where the miracle of water has not yet arrived.
