Description

This route combines the best of the coast and the interior, combining tourist frenzy and rural peace. The proximity to the beach marks the qualities of the Sun and Wine Route, forming a duality that is manifested in all its cultural aspects. It runs through the municipalities of Sayalonga, Cómpeta, Canillas de Albaida, Torrox, Nerja and Frigiliana. The winemaking process, despite the years and the advance of technology, is still traditional: After the grapes are harvested, the grapes are crushed and the selected musts are stored in barrels.
