The village of Guaro (Wādī Āruh El río del oro), situated at the foot of the source of the river Guaro (whose extraordinary flow can rarely be seen), still retains the appearance of the old farmhouse from the Andalusian period. The houses are situated on the banks of the river, which from the beginning of its course moved the wheels of some of the mills. The Frías mill and the Vallicos mill are still in good condition, although they have been transformed by time. The Frías mill, carefully restored by its owners, conserves the hydraulic mill and an oil mill, and can be visited.
