The castle of Bezmiliana is situated on the highest point of what was once its farmstead. It possibly dates back to the 10th century. It is made of mud-bricked masonry and its faces are plastered with plaster, in some cases decorated. It consists of 13 towers, 12 of which are quadrangular and 1 circular, probably built in the Nasrid period, a main gate facing southeast, with its barbican, and a small gateway on the western side. Inside, a possible cistern and some structures of difficult functional attribution have been preserved.
