Watchtowers

This route stretches from Rincón de la Victoria to Maro and here we find the architectural heritage of defensive character that the entire coast had. Most of these towers date from the Muslim period, some of which were restored or built under the mandate of the Catholic Monarchs. In addition to these towers, there are two large fortresses built in the 18th century (Bezmiliana and del Marqués) included in this route.
