Church of Santa Catalina

Description

This church was built in the 16th century over what had been the old mosque, and probably on the site of a Roman temple. Its style is Mudejar and its octagonal tower stands out, similar to others in the province of Malaga.

The sculpture of the Virgin of the Rosary, dating from the 18th century from the Granadine school, stands out for its great sculptural value.

It is located in the historic centre of the town, in Plaza de la Constitución.
