The new museum is located in Calle Iglesia, next to the Municipal Ethnographic Museum, and houses a hundred or so pieces including paintings, sculptures, books and antiques donated by Antonio Rojas, a native of Riogordo, from his private collection.
Antonio Montiel's large portraits include those of the King of Spain Felipe VI, the Queen Emeritus Doña Sofía, Queen Isabel II of England, the Duchess of Alba, Marisol, Rocío Jurado and Enrique Godínez playing Jesus Christ in El Paso de Riogordo, among others. It is also worth mentioning a collection of sculptures of personalities such as Plato, Aristotle, The Discobolus and the Lady of Elche, among other pieces, as well as an important collection of historical books.
