Of the old hermitage, only the façade remains, erected by Pedro González, founder of the brotherhood, in the mid-18th century. The chapel disappeared at the end of the 19th century and was replaced by houses. The doorway, in the classical Baroque style, is built with ashlars of stone from the Cerro del Peñón and framed by two pilasters with base, shaft and capital. During its restoration, an exposed brick lintel and a small niche were added. This doorway is a valuable historical-artistic element that testifies to the existence of the old hermitage in this place.
