Historic winery founded in 1927 by Juan Muñoz Navarrete which shows the evolution of winemaking in the Axarquia region. Divided into several rooms, it combines museum, traditional machinery and modern techniques, offering personalised visits that include vineyards, raisins and tastings adapted to each group..
Most of the vineyards controlled by the bodega are concentrated in the Axarquía region, an area characterised by its steep slopes, with decomposing slate soils, where the Moscatel de Alejandría variety is produced, with vineyards that are around 100 years old and yields of approximately 1 kg per vine. The winery also manages vineyards in the areas of Montes de Málaga and Ronda.
Visit
The wine tourism activities allow visitors to learn about the history of vineyards and wine in Malaga through the history of the winery, thanks to the inheritance received. The wine tourism experience revolves around the culture of wine, because wine is food, health, tradition, landscape and history, all from the Axarquia region.
