A family winery that combines tradition and modernity in the production of fortified, white and red wines. They work with their own grapes from old vineyards located in the characteristic soils of the Axarquía, offering visits with tasting.
In the heart of the Axarquia region lies Árchez, a Moorish village situated at the foot of the Sierras Tejeda and Almijara, where the vine was the main crop and is still a prominent feature of the landscape and economy.
It was 1988 when the López Martín brothers inaugurated their modern winery for the production and ageing of their wines, all of them made with grapes from their own vineyards.
The Bodega Hnos. López Martín winery produces traditional fortified wines from the Axarquía as well as its still wines. White and red wines, with the varieties Blanca Moscatel, Pedro Ximenes and Montua, as well as the autochthonous red Rome, from old vineyards located in the characteristic soils of the Axarquía, those of slate, located in the Coronite and Los Arriales plots.
