During this festival, thousands of litres of gazpacho made with produce grown in the municipality are handed out. In this village in the Axarquía region of the Costa del Sol, this cold soup is known as ‘Gazpacho de los tres golpes’ (Gazpacho of the Three Ingredients), referring to the water, salt and vinegar which, together with the rest of the ingredients, are always chopped by hand.
A festival celebrating a Provincial Tourist Attraction, during which around 400 litres of gazpacho are sampled.
In addition, the celebrations are rounded off with the traditional ‘Velada Flamenca Pirineos del Sur’.
